The next hike in our “Hidden Hanover” series is coming up this Saturday at Greensboro Ridge from 10am to noon, rain or shine. Hike our new Greensboro Highlands Trail and visit hidden grottoes off-trail. Families welcome. More
Balch Hill Hawk Watch – Sept. 23
Our annual hawk watch at Balch Hill is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 11am-1pm. Bring your binoculars and kids to see the hawks soaring on thermals on their way south. Meet at the summit. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 23. Watch this space for updates.
Fall Trips: Visit Hidden Hanover!
Current Hanover Conservancy members are receiving a colorful card with details on our autumn outdoor offerings. Among them is a members-only tour of the Trescott Water Company holdings, led by the foresters charged with managing these sensitive lands. Back in Time on Tunis Brook: Sunday June 10
Join us for our last spring trip – a journey back in time to the one-room Tunis Schoolhouse that once held 26 children in then-busy northeast Hanover. Then we’ll hike in to the protected site of an historic 18th century sawmill on tiny Tunis Brook. Co-sponsored with the Hanover Historical Society. Download details and directions here
