Remote northeast Hanover is the Tunis District, a once-busy 19th c. settlement with its own one-room schoolhouse built in 1822. Celebrate its 200th anniversary with a peek at the beautifully restored school and easy/moderate hike to an historic mill site. Location: 88 Wolfeboro Road. Leaders: Barbara Fildes, Keith Quinton, and Adair Mulligan. Co-sponsored with the Hanover Historical Society.
