Apple Tree Pruning Workshop Cancelled
With the forecast for high winds and low temperatures, we thought it wise to forego the frostbite and cancel our Apple Pruning Workshop, scheduled for Sat., March 11. Sunday doesn’t look any better. We’ll release a few more trees over the summer to have an even better selection for next spring’s workshop.
Thurs. March 9th 6:30-8: What’s Happening to Our Native Pollinators?
Please join the Hanover Conservancy and other UV Pollinator Partners as we kick off a full year of pollinator-themed events!
Around the globe and right here in our own backyards, biologists have been buzzing about pollinator decline. From moths to native bumble bees and butterflies, some of these species have already disappeared. Who are the pollinators? Which species are in conservation trouble? What has caused these losses? Join a panel of local biologists who have studied pollinators to learn what the issues are and how we might reverse declining pollinator populations.

Our Slade Brook snowshoe and bonfire has been canceled due to very icy trails and insufficient snow cover for a fire.
Winter Wildlife at the Trescott Lands
There are a few spots left for Saturday’s trip to the Trescott Water Supply Lands with Alcott Smith. Please CONTACT US TO REGISTER if you would like to come along.
Don’t forget your micro-spikes and/or hiking poles on your next walk- many trails are slippery right now, and recent snow may be covering ice. Be safe and have fun!
